Craig 6700 Posted November 13, 2008 Share Posted November 13, 2008 OK, OK I know that it's only the current version of the stand on the western side of SJP that has carried Wor Jackie's name, but as fair as I was aware, the only previous structure was the barrel-topped wooden effort that was knocked down 20 years ago. I donated it to the Back Page ages ago, wish I had've kept it now. Archibald Leitch seemed to build all the best stands in those days, he did Roker's and Goodison's Main Stand, and the stand (which has been modernised) I consider to be the best in world football, the main stand at Ibrox.
