So you're saying over 100 games is not a long period of time to judge that someone isn't good enough? He now also no longer doesn't have the excuse of not playing beside someone decent, that people have been using to defend him.

For me Jeremy beadle should have been off earlier for Spiderman and Guthrie done jack shit since his booking, no complaints here, pissed off? yes but we weren't at the races for me. OTF 7558
Yep, would prefer Enrique in over Bassong. Bassong was lucky in this match to get away with a fair bit. A couple of times (including one in the box) he grabbed a hold of the opposing strikers arm. Could easily have been a penalty. Bassong definately has potential though, but I think more as a central defender than as a fullback. He's a bit frantic on the ball and is no good on the dribble. Guest Stevie
Horrible mackem slag, no morals, you can guarantee she's been shagged by 4 lads in one go, all of whom stink of Lynx deodorant and smoke Lambert and Butler. I fuckin hate Sunderland, and I hate mackems, they're a different breed to us, anyone who says otherwise is a cunt.

Kid Dynamite 7182
Shes an embarrassment to her own fans. Thats probably the fakest display of excitement ive seen and i bet my house she wasnt even at the fucking match!!! The thing that riles me is ive never heard any of us goading a mackem with '4-1' or similar in my life! But you can guarantee the cunts will be banging on about 2-1 for the rest of their days. 1 game in 28 years FFS!

It's as interesting watching paint dry, as 99.9% of "blogs" are. Unless you're the leader of a country or a rock star no one is interested, why do people think they are? Tom 14013
I went to Next to buy a new coat yesterday and on the way out I was confronted by about 5/6 chavs lads and lasses all Sunderland ''fans''. I was still wearing my shirt.. The dialect was stunningly poor and they kept screaming ''haha Newcastle is fucking crap man, 2-0 to sundahland, fucking shite''. I didn't bother to tell them it was 2-1 or the fact that their life consists of hanging around the Arnison centre - all without buying anything. Ketsbaia 0
I'm still reeling off yesterday. I forgot how shite you feel in the immediate aftermath of a derby defeat I've had it in the neck already of some of my thicker Mackem supporting mates. The vast majority seem to have been quite humble about the whole thing but a couple have already belted out a couple of chorus' of "We always win 2-1!". ALS haven't wasted any time either... [image removed - it simply displayed the scoreline instead of the shirt Tom) Oh dear. I'm really looking forward to Tuesday night just so we can put this result behind us. With Gutierrez and Barton back I think we'll stand a chance of getting something off a WBA side who seem to value good football over results. Renton 22016
Cheered me up to be honest. We lost but you've always got solace in the fact you aren't a Mackem My thoughts exactly. Was at the match the match yesterday, we were well beaten if the truth were told, probably lucky even to keep the margin as low as one goal. I was gutted at the final whistle (especially as it was my first Derby away game), but the mackems ridiculous celebrations soon cheered me up. I've only been to SOL twice and both times there has been pitch invasions, I can't recall one at St James in probably more than 400 visits. Also remember that picture produced by True Faith (iirc) of the mackems looking like inbred mutants? Well, I always thought it had been photoshopped, but after yesterday I can see it was taken with a normal SLR and photographic film. On the way back we were herded onto coaches escorted by a police convoy, for a TWO hour trip back to civilisation. God, I had forgotten what an utter shit tip Sunderland really is. But of course all the mackem mutants emerged from their shanty town caves to give us their 2-1 signs an an attempt to wind us up. It had the opposite effect naturally, and I'm sure most NUFC fans were in hysterics of laughter by the time we got to Washington. I mean, you can understand it from the kids, but fully grown men? Utter retards. So at the end of the day, I was quite happy. We have the basis of a half decent team and I am sure we will soon get a new manager and owner, and normaility will be returned to the Universe. But most of all I am so happy, relieved even, that there but for the grace of God, I was not born a sad mackem bastard.
