Neville Neville Neville 0
one more for the boruc collection. when i heard it was a 45 yarder, i thought it was a screamer http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/scotland/7770458.stm (there's a couple of highlights first, including a shocking miss from footy manager star steven fletcher) Didn't even bother to answer me I see. I'll consider that apology accepted. What did you want to know? Is Boruc shite? Of course he is for a lot of the reasons I've illustrated in this thread. Wanted to know if you were going to back down on your ridiculous comment about my thoughts on Boruc being controlled by the media where I live. Is there any reason why States media would try to tell me that Boruc is a good keeper? And, on a separate point, I still maintain that he's not nearly as shit as you say. Decent keeper, not in the same league as Given or other top keepers by any means but hardly the "abysmal" keeper you're making him out to be. No, I can't think of an other logical reason why you would think this. When he plays here again I think we should chant you're just a slim Mike Hooper to him. Even when our reserves beat them 4-1 last summer he was to blame for at three of the goals. Tom 14011
It's probably the best result for us. Spurs wont be down there all season but West Ham will.

Happy Face 29
How pointless are tomorrow nights fixtures btw? Greatest advert for reverting to a straight knockout contest I've seen.

Happy Face 29
Another Carragher og today I see Who holds the record? Everton's Billy Balmer. At the turn of the 20th century he netted eight goals during open play; all, unfortunately, at the wrong end of the pitch. In more than 300 appearances for the Toffees his only goal at the right end was a single penalty in 1899. http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2008/no...wngoals-records Go on Carra, you can beat him easy. acrossthepond 866
Man City lose to a 90th minute Cahill goal at home. I can't see Hughes being given much more time if results keep up this way, although they'll probably buy a boatload of players in January. If we beat Portsmouth tomorrow we go to 14th! Kitman 2204
I'm preparing myself for relegation, it's nailed on now I reckon. Our only hope is spending our way out of trouble in January by buying quality proven players. I'm not holding my breath. We might be able to get Dean Windass on a free, as long as he's not too greedy with his wage demands.
