It also doesn't necessarily follow that because you do well without spending a lot (in relative terms) that you'd do much better if you spent a lot. There's no such thing as the free spending Wenger you talk about so how you can possible speculate by spending loads / having loads to spend he'd win more the Ferguson is beyond me. They came out recently and said that they had a shitload of surplus cash this year and had to decide whether to spend it on transfers or in paying off the debt.
