snakehips 0
Just tried to get a borrowed CD with photographs on out the case and the fucking thing has split from the centre to the outside edge. Can these be repaired ????? I've had a look via Google but the only thing that seems on offer is to repair scratched discs, rather than split ones. I'd be very grateful if anyone can advise me as this is a borrowed disc (nowt dodgy, before you ask!). I'm really distraught over this as I don't want to be ruining friend's photographs. Lazarus 0
cant be fixed im afraid. but it might still be readable in a cd drive - ie you may be able to copy the contents and burn them to another disc.
Fop 1
Be slightly wary about which drive you try it in though, potentially a fragmenting CD could knacker your drive.

Tell him the photo's were shit and you broke the disk in a fit of anger. Karma - Go with it.

My guess is the photos had to be on their PC in the first place to transfer them to CD. Even if they deleted them, chances are they're still in the recycle bin. Just come clean and give them a blank CD to replace the cracked one.
