Smooth Operator 10 Posted October 15, 2008 Share Posted October 15, 2008 Trying to connect my x box with my laptop wirelessly and the instructions are saying to launchthe windows live one care program, can't find this anywhere and have tried to see if i can download it but to no avail. Your laptop needs to be running either windows vista (Home Premium or Ultimate) if you want to stream video IIRC. If you are just looking at streaming music and pictures, then I think you can get away with XP as long as you are running Windows Media Player 10. Basically, it uses Windows Media Centre to handle the streaming with is built into the Home Premium and Ultimate versions of Vista. You can also use Windows Media Centre 2005 OS. Smooth Operator 10 Posted October 18, 2008 Author Share Posted October 18, 2008 Aye didn't need it after all just the instructions i was following said launch windows one care and as my initial attempts at connecting didn't work thought this was needed but apparently not.
