Although a comma after, Whilst we are sure that their intentions are genuine, would have helped.

I think the and in savenewcastle.com and Newcastle Fans United, leads us to the fact they are linked.

You had me wondering there but the way I read it is they are telling readers of their site about the NUSC, its not down on their site as a press release from savenewcastle.

 

They are not part of, or linked to the nusc in any way. They may get the backing (if we sort ourselves out first) but its not currently seen as a credible answer to the problem.

They need locking up the lot of them! If they think they can find 10 people to fork out £1000 they are mental, but 300,000!!! In the middle of a recession!? All they are after is a bit of publicity

And if they got the money together then what would they do? What about the actual costs of running the club? Transfer fees? Idiots.

 

They'll do what Freddy Shepherd, Mike Ashley and all the other owners did, spend their own money.

 

The running of the club I imagine would be funded by turnover the way it has always been funded and no doubt will continue to be regardless of ownership.
