catmag 337
Yo Berb, Lourdes was months ago man! It was a good week thanks. Believer or carer? Primarily carer, although I do think it can do people a lot of good spiritually. I'm yet to see a proper miracle like and I've been going for 17 years... Not personally, but there have been something like 60-odd "cures" that have been verified as unexplainable in medical science over the years in people who have been there. It's easy to knock something like Lourdes but if it has helped even one person it has to be good. I'm sure the families who have experienced genuine cures believe that. Me I think it's a pile of crap

I am in no way a believer in any of that kind of thing however I do know of a lass who worked in M&S who had a son with really really bad eczema, not the irritation level but full blown, life in a bubble type stuff. They went everywhere, all the top hospitals etc and nothing before finally desperate they went to Lourdes, not sure what they did while there but literally a couple of weeks later the kid was almost cured. "Approximately thirty percent of infants will develop eczema. Luckily, many will outgrow it by the time they reach three to five years of age.
