Has it crossed anyone else's mind that Ashley might well have received one of those 'spam' emails from a rich African who's found out that you're secretly entitled to an inheritance you never knew you had....?

All you have to do is click the link Mike.... ;)

Is this guy high? Everyone in England known Newcastle are just worth over £250m (and thats a generous figure), yet, he's looking to raise £450 to £500m to buy the club. Doesnt make sense. Has he asked himself why nobody else is tabling that kind of stupid money? The fact that The Arabs (who easily have moer than that to spend ON THE RIGHT CLUB) who ashley went cap-in-hand to turned him down flat should be enough of a wake up call, but noooo Mr Nathaniel wants to buy by force.

I smell all sorts of dead rats. Nigerians dont buy over-valued 2nd rate nonsense. No disrespect to Newcastle, it is always portrayed as the club with potential, because they have a local fanbase which exceeds even Man-u and Liverpool, but the reason why they've only won 1 league title and 1 FA cup in the last 80 years (the last of those was over 50 years ago) is because their fans have about as much patience as a starved olopka in a queue at Iya Basira's booker. It doesnt make sense to manage newcastle or own the club. 14 managers in 20 years. Westham have had 14 managers in over 100 years of their existence. And then you want to go into their chairmen? He is struggling to raise the money now, what about transfers? Does he know the club is over 200mill in debt?

Furthermore, Keegan is probably the worst manager to have graced our screens for a long while. You thought Berti Voghts was bad, what do you say to a man who admitted to being completely out of football for the last 3 years, and when his contemporaries were submitting shopping lists for young future talent, Keegan requested for Beckham, Henry and Ronaldo - no wonder the man got sacked. A man who just cannot see a job through; a man who resigned from the top jobs at: ENGLAND, FULHAM, MANCITY, NEWCASTLE... the guy is a clown.

Buying Newcastle is a big mistake. Buying Newcastle and reinstating Keegan as manager is suicide.

But seriously how can you have patience unless it is tested? Man U fans would be baying for blood if they didn't win something for 2 consecutive seasons.

NUFC fans are some of the most patient around.
