I have just started listening to Kathy Burke's, 'Where there's a will theres a wake'.  Its a little different.  This is the overview;

Quote

If you could plan your perfect death, what would you do?

Join Kathy Burke as she chats to the likes of Dawn French, James Acaster and Jamali Maddix asking them questions like 'how do you want to die?', 'where are you going next?' and of course, 'who gets your prized possessions?'.

It's pretty good, but the episode with Alan Carr is brilliant;

@Alex @Gemmill @spongebob toonpants and any other PCY’s…

I think Alex mentioned at some point what Taylor Parkes said about Morrisey/The Smiths etc…

I mean.... OK. I very clearly stated my position on glorifying gangsters or reading the work of Steve Wraith in the post that you quoted.

It's a story from a time that I can remember in a place that I know. The DJ that they talk to used to work in the place I worked.

All of the above is enough to hold my interest. The glorification stuff I'm clever enough to look past.

I’ve done all 6 this morning…. My main takeaway is the presenter is maybe a female version of Wraith? :lol:

Graham story has no surprises. My other feeling on it is @thebrokendoll  or some of his then associates were probably present at a lot of his crimes and that @Howmanheyman was probably also drinking somewhere in Wallsend the night he got topped so both are probably suspects in the as yet unsolved murder :D

Aye, as it wore on, it became increasingly apparent that the presenter lass was a lot more sympathetic to Graham than she should have been.

His wife sounded like she was heavily medicated in all her interviews.

Isn't Walkerville HMHM's manor? Cos the wife claimed that it was hers and Viv Graham's dream to buy a house in Walkerville. They did and then the daft cunt got killed.

34 btw. He looks 50 in most pictures of him.

I know fuck all about such things, is the graham in question viv?

I did read once that he bottled having a one on one with lee duffy on several occasions, which leads me to the conclusion that if he was scared of a smoggie then he must've been as soft as shite.

My dad told me a story once about Viv Graham rocking up at the balmoral in the west end one night when he was in there. Turned up with a bunch of lads to batter someone far smaller but 10x more mental, who allegedly laughed at him leading to the gang of roid ragers to jump back in their transit and head back east.

My dad reckoned it was enough for him to shit himself despite being on the other side of the bar but not the nutter they confronted :lol:.

Viv 2.0

His wife reveals in the doc that his favourite film was Zulu too. :lol:

This would have made a great Twins reboot.

Walkerville's a lovely place and also not too badly placed either. It's a middle class enclave in the East End. :D

"Now you run along to your Balmoral in the West End before I'm obliged to ring the police to move you on, and don't even think about looking for lead on my roof."

Some people dream about buying a house in Alnmouth.

Some people dream of Darras Hall.

Some people dream of buying in Jesmond, near the Dene.

But Viv and his wife had a special dream. They dreamed above their station. They dreamed with no limits. They dreamed of living in Walkerville.
