Guest alex
A little distraction from our current plight: William Hill's are offering Chelsea at 5/6 to win the title and Man Utd at 12/5. If you stick say £60 on Chelsea and £50 on Man Utd you can't lose*. However, if Chelsea win the league you're even, i.e. no better off but if Man Utd win the league, you're £70 up. *Of course, this assumes one of these two will win. Besty 4
It also assumes you have £110 going spare.
Guest alex
It also assumes you have £110 going spare. Obviously. I'm deciding how much I've got the bottle to bet. Even 'just' £110 is a canny outlay for what will be quite possibly be zero return as well.

Offshore Toon 0
It's called 'dutch beting'. Backing the only realistic outcomes with almost gaurenteed profit. That's a 20% dutch, so if you stick 65% of your stake on Chelsea and 35% on Man Utd you'll win 20% of your stake. JaMoUsE 0
or put the money in a 1 yr ISA at 7% and win without gambling. Easy money..
peasepud 59
or do as I did after the Man U game and bet on the toon at 350/1 with a view to us having a good start, the odds dropping and then laying off the bet at much lower odds. Sometimes things just never go to plan
