Alan Shearer Is God 0
Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas has backed Spurs' English contingent to bring success to White Hart Lane. Martin Jol's expensively assembled squad includes an English spine of Paul Robinson, Ledley King, Michael Carrick, Jenas and Jermain Defoe. Jenas has called on his team-mates to follow the example of Chelsea who, for all their spending, count England's John Terry and Frank Lampard as arguably their most influential performers. "We have an abundance of good young English players and that can only benefit us," said Jenas. "If you look at Chelsea and the success they have had with people like John Terry and Frank Lampard, it's important to have that English core. "They've been around it before. English players know what this league is all about. Sometimes it's more difficult for foreign players to understand it all." The England international joined Spurs from Newcastle in a £7 million deal and has started five games for Jol's third place Londoners. http://home.skysports.com/list.asp?hlid=31...s+to+home+guard This guy is full of shit. Does he actually think that Spurs are going to win anything with him in there side!

Fuck Michael Carrick is better and once someone at the FA realises Jenarse will be second choice at spurs and fourth choice for England.
sweetleftpeg 0
As NUFC.com pointed out, Spurs is NOT a team full of young english players. They've got just as many if not more foreign players than any other PL team. I'd also be surprised if Michael Carrick welcomed him with open arms, what with him nicking his place. For someone who reckons he left because he hated being in the limelight, he isn't half talking to the press a lot lately.

Won't take long for him to learn that even in a bigger fish bowl, if you are crap people will still notice.
