Andy 0
Why would anyone not want to use Firefox ahead of IE; FF is quicker (albeit only marginally), it has tabbed browsing, it's open source - which means you can customise it to the MAX™, and most importantly, it's around 1,000,000,000% (source: rough guess) more secure than Internet Explorer. I suppose it is actually a pretty tight contest between them though... You know, if you just blissfully ignore all the major differences between them. Jill 0
It took me a while to get used to Firefox but I love it now. Tabbed browing is the daddy.

Craig 6682
IE7 is the future! 44108 Considering they have ripped off tab-browsing from Mozilla I wouldn't put too much faith in that. 44169 I stand to be corrected, but I'm pretty sure Opera first introduced that feature! Jill 0
I've had Opera a while but could never get away with it, something just doesn't sit right. I only use it when I'm making a website as I like to test it on a few different browsers before uploading.

There's something which doesn't sit quite right with Firefox for me. Tried it a couple of times but the one nag I have with it is that you cannot minimise all the windows. Might sound daft to some but it's a feature of Opera 7 which I've grown used to. They don't have it in Opera 8 hence why I haven't upgraded. However, if anyone knows a way to minimise all the windows in Firefox - let me know and i'll be willing to have another crack at it!
Lazarus 0
firefox is brilliant for porn - theres a great extension you can download that lets you download all the pics or movies on a page to a folder that you specify - all in one click. ie is my main browser. I have a mate who'll let me have some webspace on his server but I need to make the site myself. Nothing too flash just a place people can download mp3s and maybe some pics. The design part I can do myself as I did it for A level. Any advice would be well appreciated

But you can make sites up through the graphical interface without knowing any.
