If I was really looking for even the slightest glimmer of hope I'd say that 'this' meeting didn't end with a satisfactory conclusion... maybe there could be 'further discussions'... *clutches at straws*

Two things worry me with this, firstly the press could have a field day and make out Keegan refused to return because Ashley wouldn't cough up for some 'major' signings. And secondly it gives me an ever so slightly small bit of possible doubt that maybe Kev couldn't be reasonable... though that's an extremely small doubt, I mean if I had to pick between Ashley and Keegan on telling the truth it wouldn't even be a contest.

*Edit: A mate's just texted me with a good point, it's likely this was just a stunt by Ashley to get the fans onside otherwise Ashley would have given Keegan full control and there would be no arguement.

Whatever the reasons are in the papers, they will be horseshit. They will print whatever they like anyway and none will know what the meeting contained or just exactly what it is KK wants and what MA doesnt want him to have.

That's about the size of it - I wish Ashley would just give Kev whatever he wants, I doubt very much that Kev's asking for anything unreasonable tbh.

I was thinking the same myself. If it was stunt to try and placate the crowd tomorrow then he's been very stupid because all it would do is fan the flames some more.

Being ludicrously imaginative for a moment - maybe he's selling up/getting investment in and the deal somehow involves Keegan coming back.

Ambani: "The club's in turmoil - you can fuck off"

Ashley: "What if I could get Kev back?"

Ambani: "Hmm...."

Not all that ludicrous tbh

I live in hope

:D

Mick over on N-O says the meet was at Freshfields, Fuck me stevies email to mort has worked

Do people actually believe he sent that e-mail?

Do you want my msn password nobhead?

Been gettin texts about this all night, fuckin terrible :D hopes raised one minute, brutally bludgeoned the next. Fuckin cunts. Keegan's probably said look yous have tried to make me look like a cunt in the press, admit publicly you're a bunch of wanks, get rid of Wise and Llambias, give me a modest 30m in the window and I'll come back. That will be the conversation and Ashley's said no, he's dug his own grave now he must lie in it. All out abuse tomorrow, I don't care if it does no good it will make me feel better.

Our friend Louise reckons they met this afternoon to discuss compen but then decided to chat about a return which was why another session tonight took place.

Which is why Louise's minge is more poisoned than the River Tees. An utter idiot, and only an utter idiot would consider the fact a meeting about the financial aspects of Keegan leaving would take place without solicitors present. In fairness I've just noticed people have made this point to idiots who believed that what the meeting was about.
