Happy Face 29
Thought it was about time we got back to discussing Newcastle on the pitch. Who's set to return this weekend? According to physioroom... Geremi Cacapa Martins Carroll Are they all still on track? Then there's the new boys Xisco Gonzalez I'd imagine Zoggy will drop back to fill in for Enrique, Martins in for Ameobi and Geremi to come in on the right. Given Beye Coloccini Taylor N'Zogbia Geremi Guthrie Butt Gutierrez Owen Martins Thoughts? Edited September 10, 2008 by Happy Face
adam_cann 0
I'd go with that, but I don't think Martins will be ready, i heard from somewhere he's another week away. Xisco may be thrown straight into the thick of things

They're in for a shock when they get back.

Guest Stevie
Despite what will be an adrenaline charged abuse fest of an atmosphere, we shouldn't lose sight of the fact the team still needs us, and we need three points, regardless who owns us. If Martins is back I would start him on the bench, and give Xisco his league debut. As debuts go in the Premiership, they don't come any easier than Hull City at home. I'm looking forward to seeing the lad. If you gauge the DLC fans reaction to him leaving, it seems like he could be a fantastic purchase, regardless who's bought him. They all seem devastated, contrast that to their reaction when Luque left, by and large they weren't bothered, and were delighted with the fee. sweetleftpeg 0
This is a shocker of a game for the board to have straight after last weeks farce. At home, against a team we should be stuffing. If we don't beat them there'll be hell on and will crank up the heat just that little bit more...
