Ticket office asked what the procedure was for cancelling my direct debit mandate for my season ticket. response; just popin writing to the club.

I asked would I be persued for some kind of breach of contract and was told no.

Imagine their faces if a few thousand do that.

Mind though I'm saying this, I truely believe no one man is bigger than NUFC.

Bobby the thing is you dont pay NUFC direct, you pay some loan company, and if you miss a payment it effects your credit reference file. I've just rang up for a refund on mine, and as I paid cash they've said there's no refunds are available. Looks like I'll have to pracitise my booing techniques then.

It's the fans in your situation I feel sorry for Stevie, being sold tickets under false pretenses.

It's the season ticket holders who have the power here IMO.

You were all sold something very expensive under false pretences.

If only you could organise yourselves enough to sue the fat cunt unless he sells up.

Losing our key players now will see us scrapping to avoid relegation again.

I paid for 3 years upfront btw :o That's got to cheer some of you up on this bleak morning.

I paid for this seasons ticket last year and have agreed to the other two. TBH theres no way I could see me giving it up though seeing as my card is in my wallet right now I have asked the other people in the office to hide all the scissors in case I do something stupid with it...

I don't see how things that harm the club help the fans though. I understand the anger and the desire to do something but I've seen stuff like Fop on here saying he hopes we lose the next 3 games and tbh, that won't help us. Neither would the above. I don't know what to do though, I really don't. Not a dig at anyone btw.

If you've paid for this years up front and you tell the club you don't want next years, you can cancel your DD - your paying in advance for something you have never received. They can't effect your rating or sue you for something you haven't had.

It's like buying a car, you change your mind before the car's delivered, they keep the car (with possibly an admin charge) but if you play it by the book there's no effect on your rating.

All the pressure is on the players to perform and get the right results. Hopefully in the meant time Ashely will do what is in the best interests of the club for once and fuck off for good by selling up to someone....with a clue...!

It doesn't apply to me either btw. Shame as I think cancelling the DDs is the best protest tool available to the fans. I think most would have taken up the DD option though - whether they went for 3 years or the (increased price) one year deal. Not many could afford paying upfront due to family commitments, credit crunch etc.

I don't think you could sue him. Maybe if KK had been sacked.......

Same here.

I wonder if they'll let me move to one of the myriad of vacant seats closer to the pitch without paying any extra. Seems daft to staff level 7 if everyone could fit in the lower tiers.

Because it may get the middle-management out at least.

Otherwise you're going to get the same problems again, unless it's someone installed that is part of the Wise/Jimenez/Vetere/Llambias boys club they are going to be hamstrung and we'll be back here again.

Wise (and co.) is cancer, and they club is never going to get anywhere with it (and it looks like all the stories of the last 6 months of backroom power struggles and in-fighting have been true).

If they aren't gone we'll be back here again within a season.

I understand why you're saying that but I don't see it myself, it'll only harm the club and relegation isn't as crazy as it might have sounded a week ago, etc. Just my two-penneth. It's hard to know what would be for the best in terms of measuring the short-term against the long-term. I never, ever want us to lose matches though.

You'll not get the same problem though. Whether or not Keegan was, anyone taking the job now will be fully aware they might be given players to work with that they didn't ask for.

With the current structure at best we've got lower mid-table mediocrity to look forward too (until someone offers Ashley enough for the club), at worst.... I don't want to think about it.

Think of it as chemotherapy.

Can you think of any manager of any worth that will put up with not having a say on players in or who they keep?

At Barcelona/RM/etc. a decent manager may accept that - we ain't Barcelona/RM/etc..
