Tom 14011
Radio Newcastle are now making noises about it. That's because hysteria has created a domino effect among the press not because it's true ALL .com's fault. Yeah. Message boards, unofficial websites and unusual betting patterns due to people ''In the Know'' have caused this hysteria. Not genuine club action. Asprilla 96
They could fucking tell us tbf. OK, apparently it's not viable to answer every story but thousands of fans who ultimately drive the business have lives and jobs to concentrate on. A little ticker tape snippet on the official site reassuring us there's nothing to the rumours wouldn't hurt. And before people say it shouldn't occupy so much of our minds, how else do you explain the devotion of paying through the nose to watch and follow the games and buying of nylon tat for £40 every year.... marci 0
I just think that the more news agencies which report it, the more credibility the piece has to have. BBC have put a piece on their sport website, which usually doesnt report rumour. I think the meeting is defo happening, which is they are reporting on the Beeb website, on 5live and on Radio Newcastle. The rest are still only a rumour. They are just joining in with the hysteria in case there is some truth in the story and they are left reporting nothing.

marci 0
Now being mentioned on SSN No surprise really, if I'd watch SSN all day, I expect to know about the recent murmurs. This is murmur and they are reporting it (pretty late). I think it's only the domino-effect, like Tom said.

Of course it could be all bullshit about the bust-up yesterday and todays meeting is the planned to talk about contract extensions. Looks unlikely though.
