Chaser 1203
Burley spent a year out with injury following a Newcastle game so thats probably where his bitterness sources from. During pre-season, one of the Setanta commentators saw Guti on the sidelines on the phone and said that he was on to his agent asking to get him out of here. Low ball bias commentary is gonna win loads of fans in the North im sure. If it wasnt free, I probably would have cancelled my subs
NJS 4358
Just something else on the "football is ruined" angle which I was talking about with my mates after the game: The goal celebrations by their fans were quite muted (nothing wrong there - we sometimes have done the same in the past when we've played a lesser team and recognise that a goal will be one of several) but there was a moment after the second goal where it was replayed on the big screens where large sections of their crowd broke out into what could be best described as polite applause for the quality of the goal. It felt to me completely out of place at a football ground and just made me think that they may as well have been watching it at home. I think it was a glimpse of the future and it sickened me. They're pathetic, Guardian reading wanks. It has a close up of their fans a few times, there was an Indian in an Arsenal top with a smile suggesting the village well was working again, posh cunts with caps on, women paying no attention to the game, black fans with big head phones in nodding their head...they are the single most pathetic fans in football. They even started an NIKE Arsenal turban range in their club shop, if that doesn't sum it up then I don't know what will. On the whole their support are more boring then any rugby crowd, muted attempt at "we forgot than you were 'ere" and in the past "we love you Freddie" only posh wanks and losers would sing something as pathetic as that. Even Spurs fans are more passionate than them. Robchester what game did Burley get done?

Rob W 0
TBF we're regularly slaughtered at Arsenal - I've gone there for years and even 1-0 to them is a moral victory Lets face at the start of the season we'd have grabbed the idea of 3 points from the first three games with both hands - I reckoned we'd have 1 point and a fair chance of zero................. Papa Lazaru 0
Arse with Fabregas back were in absolute top form, certainly in the first half and in patches second half, so getting a good beating isnt the end of the world, especially with the number of senior players we had left fit! We didn't help by playing badly oursleves and shooting ourselves in the foot gifting them goals/penalty but on that form they would beat most teams comfortably. Shola was shocking though, wandering round as if he couldnt be bothered and whilst Zog conceded the penalty it was Shola giving up any effort to stop the guy before he crossed into the box that started the problem. Probably only Given and the tireless Jonas came out of it well, but we need to forget this one, have a break, get soem signings in and get back on track against Hull. Jusoda Kid 1
Well beaten yesterday and if MA can't see that we need players there's something wrong with him. Don't get me started on Ameobi, he should never wear the top again imo as he's a disgrace to it.

trophyshy 7066
just in from the match, Shola was a fucking disgrace, the most significant thing he did was stop MO from scoring the useless gimp. Generally it was a poor show and we desperately need some pace and guile, 3 players minimum requirement. I didn't understand Keegans substitutions and thetiming thereof, it was like he had written the game off alltogether so why change things? Positives; Support was very good even when 3 down, and the Emirates looked great in the late summer sun. I love KK and everything he's done (and will do) for NUFC, but he's never been any use with subs at all, Shola should have been hauled off at halftime and either let one of the young lads have a run out as they would at least have tried or bring on an extra midfilder and try and get some sort of grip of arsenal in the middle of the park, we were basically playing with 10 men! Park Life 71
Mike Ashley downing his pint was the greatest moment in Newcastle's last 4 years. Fuck the result.
