Does anyone have any experience with gold plated or gold tipped RCA cables? Are they any better? Silver and copper speaker wire? A £6 Cable will do the beginner but once your jamming it into a Blues Deville (4 x 10) and cranking it up to a hall you really need something decent and proper. NJS 4452 Posted August 28, 2008 Share Posted August 28, 2008 Like everything else I think quality is worth paying for up to a certain point - the price difference for gold interconnects is pretty nominal to make not doing it pointless but I'd definitely splash out on speaker cable - try bi-wired.
