Jusoda Kid 1
My mate asked me to have a look at his PC as it was running slow. Went down installed AVG, done a scan, found 6 threats sorted. he's went to put his PC on today and it's egg timer city, what the fucks going on? P.S How the fuck you people use PC''s is beyond me, more hassle than they're worth imo TIA Mac daddy
J_D_ 0
CTRL - ALT - DEL Processes tab - Watch the Mem Usage to see if there is something suspect using a lot of memory. You should run a spyware detector.

Fop 1
Could be loads of things (including something removed by AVG). The problem with windows is that it's about the last OS you should let the average user online with.

Craig 6682
+ Defrag hdd. Depends.... defrag doesn't do much these days with an NTFS file structure. Was a much more useful tool in FAT32
Rob W 0
screen savers - is he running some really clever screen saver that is eating CPU space?
Fop 1
+ Defrag hdd. Depends.... defrag doesn't do much these days with an NTFS file structure. Was a much more useful tool in FAT32 Something like perfect disk can still make a decent difference, but usually only massively noticeable with reasonable full drives and stuff that can throw around a lot of data (games and such).
