Does it not make everyone proud btw that a lot of the best English players of the last 20/30 years all come from our region?

Aye. Shame it's dried-up of late though.

In your lifetime was not the ask. And you lose for picking Beckham.

No one can give a fair assessment of how good people were when they weren't even born when they were playing. It's idiotic to do that imo. It's incredible how many wanks are influenced by what's popular to think, "Beckham is shite", well they're all wanks. Beckham is a fuckin fantastic player or was, and the best Right winger England's had imo in my era. Gerrard and Scholes are better players, as is John Barnes but they've never done it for England as much as Beckham.

Bollocks. With research it is easy to assess the qualities of players from many different eras. It is also not popular to think "Beckham is shite" in fact the opposite Beckham's popularity is still huge. However he was and is a one trick pony who if studied correctly would have been and was easy to shut down. Ask his Real team mate Roberto Carlos and see what he said about him before he joined Real. Like Sun Tzu said "if you know your enemy as well as you know yourself you will never be defeated" well Beckham is so one footed it is unbelievable which is shown perfectly in his pathetic attempts to put a penalty anywhere other than straight down the middle or to the goalkeepers right.

Never ever heard a bigger load of bollocks in my life, when he crosses the ball with his left it's better than most wingers natural foot.

The bit about using research to assess qualities from another era, you make yourself look idiotic. The question was IN YOUR OPINION, what is the best England team. How the fuck could I judge someone like Duncan Edwards, or Nat Lofthouse without using OTHER peoples opinions?!?!?! I didn't grow up with them, nor have I seen enough of them to compare with the players of the last 30 years. I've read a lot of opinions about Duncan Edwards, the conclusive answer about him seems to be he was an all time great, but that's going off managers, fans and players opinions of the time, it's not my fuckin opinion is it because I don't know.

How could an all-time England XI not include Bobby? Especially if it's biased towards the NE.

He puts in Jack Charlton and exludes Bobby, the bloke has not got a clue about football.
