Wavey Davey 0
Not being a man with much duckets to spare I don't get to the matches as often as I'd like (2 or 3 times a season at most) so I make do with listening to the radio commentaries if it's not on the tellybox. Do others do the same? Not keen on 5 Live. Patronising fuckers and they always seem to lean towards the team we're playing. Especially teams from London. Century radio's alreet but Bob Moncur gets on my tits with constant negativity and bias against certain players. If I could listen to one station it would be radio Newcastle. I say more often because it's either me radio's shite and playing up, i don't like putting radio stations on sky or the mackems are on. (don't they have their own station for this?) What about you lot?

Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
Mick Lowes and John Anderson on Radio Newcastle are easily the best of the local commentators imo. Lowes tries to keep the positive spin under control when he's actually commentating, but he does lick arse in his interviews.

Some in-joke I've missed? More of an out-joke, though naturally I can't find the link now. There was some daft lad in the press a few years ago, proudly boasting of having spent the best part of a grand on a terribly tasteful Toon tattoo even though he "couldn't afford a season ticket". Guest alex
I always find it frustrating if I have to listen to match on the radio, probably because it's normally an away game so even if we get a decent result it's often a nail-biter. I normally tend to turn it over for a few minutes then keep going back for updates. Radio Newcastle would be my choice though.
sammynb 3640
I use to enjoy, in a sad frustrating as fuck way, listening to Metro's commentary when they were allowed to broadcast it on-line.
bobbyshinton 59
Never hate it. Typical patter. ball on the edge of the chelsea box, shot blocked ball rolls to Tudor. Goal, Goal great goal by chelsea
Tom 14021
I used to when I was a kid but for the past few years I have relied on feeds instead of listening to the match. The radio always gives a false impression anyway and half the time they talk shite about the weather or whatever.
Guest Stevie
I hate radio commentary listening to the toon hate it so bad. That excitable cvunt on Mwetro that replaced Mick Lowes is a total dickheead. Sometimes its like a throw in and he gets so excited you think its a pen. Chalres Harrison was the last great xcommentator on radio, although Mick Lowes isn't bad.
