rogerbarton 24
I'd rate him worse than Kinnear given the circumstances. Was Carver ever more than 'interim manager'? If so, I'd probably put Carver below, yes.
Dr Gloom 22142
no, you're right. he was appointed temporary head coach until the end of the season, though it felt like a lot longer than that.

PaddockLad 17643
To be sacked by one club is unfortunate, to be sacked almost exactly 12 months later by another just looks careless.....

NJS 4411
They must have assumed he'd get them to the playoffs - more fool them.
rogerbarton 24
Quite remarkable to sack him five months in given what they knew when they appointed him. He'd already led them on a horrendous losing streak in his first spell there, and followed that up with a disastrous tenure here. He gets them from the relegation places to tenth, and they get shot of him? Surely when he took over they weren't really entertaining the notion of the play-offs? Either way he's an absolute fraud, just seems like a really weird turn of events. Remember these guys sacked Paul Clement after 9 months with them safely in the play-offs last season. Look at the job he's doing at Swansea.
ewerk 31195
Seven out of his last eight jobs have ended in failure. You would think by now he'd have got the hint.
Rayvin 5294
Wow. I mean the guy sucks at managing football teams but that seems a bit trigger happy from Derby.
TheGingerQuiff 2412
I didn't see it but I read he had his trademark grin on sharing a joke with Hughton whilst his team was losing. Enough to infuriate anybody.
Haydnator 45
One of the best moments of the season was McClaren being a pundit before our first game of the season for Sky, talking about us like he played absolutely no part in the reason why we're in the league we're in, was unbelievable and Holloway absolutely merked him
