Park Life 71
If I was pushed into a corner by big angry lads and had to come up with a name and had 12 pints in me I'd say the 'big name' is Moutinho.
Guest Stevie
And does it need to be so perfunctory? Not even a 'Kind regards'. Or better still 'Cheers' like HTL used to put when he felt his posts needed that extra gravitas. Two week ban iyam. Cheers . Like a footballing authority has spoken. You have read my articulate footballing theology genious, and the cheers is the like till the next time and I know you're waiting with baited breath at my shear unique insight - that's how HTL's "Cheers" at the end used to come across to me. A kid who had never stepped foot in NE1 4ST, before his 18th birthday. I find the worst type of football fan, are the late developers, people that feel in love with the game at 5, 6, 7, good lads - late developers pipe down. You're mixing him up with HTT. It was HTL who put 'Cheers' a lot. What you mention is what really wound me up about HTT. How could you not like playing football as a kid etc. then consider yourself an expert at (what is he now?) about 13? HTT said cheers too. Obviously picked it up off HTL then, who tbf, does know his stuff. I miss him. To be fair I did get HTL and HTT mixed up I was on about HTT. HTL had a good knowledge it has to be said, but he always came across as an angry version of NE5 to me. Does HTL still get on No-marks Online? Not sure what that means, but that is what I've been told. If by HTL we are talking about the insanely long post wallah. Nar that's HowayTheToon 29 years of age been to 40 toon games in his life, never owned a season ticket, never went to a game before Villa away in 96, yet he used to make his posts, like a managers piece in the programme, "take on board what I've said and lets hear that famous geordie roar come Saturday" signature underneath. HTL - Howay The Lads was late 40's knew his stuff, but he was a Social Club Stan, he used to drink in Blakelaw Social by all accounts.

Park Life 71
Read that earlier myselfas much as you'd love such news to be true ya really know deep down it's aload of balls Funny thing is some of it rings true. On the other hand the really big name before the end of the season feels like fan driven wishful thinking, hope it's true mind. Was thinking the same. The thing about transfer budget is almost certainly true - have thought that from the off and MA has stated its the case but some still call him tight. Collo isn't quite there but close. We are one marquee player away (sizzling midfielder or forward type) from MA stamping his signature on the club. If I was advising him that would have happened by now. This club has all the assets to be a serious contender.

Park Life 71
Strikes me that someone's had a few pieces of insight, but the other bits by the op are hopes and dreams. The wise 6 under 17yr olds is interesting and encouraging if true, but like I said it's hard to tell which parts of that post are the truth and which are embellishments. p.s. the "regards Attain" is a bit fucking annoying like. I have the same feeling as well, if the embellishments are true, then this season is going to be fun. If they're embellishments, they won't be true

Sima 0
There has been a massive reduction in sales of corporate box renewals so last night NUFC had a meeting with 20 corporate clients last night to try to get them to renew. Overall the opinion was that he was very convincing and positive, so much so that this guy has decided to renew his box. . Job done then.....
