smoggeordie 0
I'm sure I read somewhere that Joey Barton had had his box at SJP cancelled by the club after his prison sentence.

Flair 0
Fucking hell, can you imagine how many they are going to have living in SJP when they take over? They can fit a family of 14 in a two up, two down round my way. Fuck off you Jewish cunt. Go pick up some pennies and eat so Motsa bread. Hmm, that isn't anti-semetism one bit. Even if the stupid f@g is being racist, you shouldn't stoop to his level. Regards, Attain Edited August 7, 2008 by Attain

JawD 99
Reet then, few snippets from the game yesterday. Spoke to John Beresford before the game. Said that Cox left due to his back, something thats been a problem for him for a long time apparently and he suffers badly with it. The travelling was making it worse. What KK will miss is his ability to spot a play on the pitch who is taking the piss. KK would be watching everything while Cox watching more individuals. On Smith, said that its not that KK doesnt want him to go, more that he doesnt want him to go before he is replaced as the squad is so small. While Ashley thinks if there is an offer on the table we should take it rather than get less or nothing for him later. Said the signings are all KKs, he has the final say on if he wants a player. Said that there is a better chance of KK finding a "gem" than signing a big name player (used examples of Rob Lee and Scott Sellars). After the game we spoke to Bob Moncur. Spent most of it talking about expectations. He thinks we'd do well to finish top half with the squad as it is now. Agrees that forwards are our biggest problem having only two real goalscorers in Vikdua and Owen, both who have injury problems and Martins who he says is up and down. Great one day, crap the next. Interestingly seen Mike Ashley after the game, he was signing stuff for some kids etc. someone shouted when we signing some more players, he said to the crowd in general we will sign one defender and one midfielder but no forward. Sure there was a few other things but I cant remember... Edit : Oh aye, Moncur says that we need to realise that though Ashley has put the money in he has now, that the club will also loose money operationally this year and that needs to be covered. Thats why he is trying to address the wages. Also get us up the table to increase income and try to find more investors in the club. Big issue is (obviously) how far up we can go with what we have then, which I guess relies on injuries quite strongly. Never good to have to rely on good luck.
