He's staying put. Danny B's man is never wrong, after all.

SSN understands

We are playing Orient tonight, if he plays in that....

I think they've actually made some half decent signings so far. I mean Chimbonda is a wanker and Diouf is as horrible as they come but they are canny players who (ability wise) I wouldn't have minded seeing here. Same goes for Malbranque. Don't think they would have improved our team and I would definitely rate Beye or Owen/Martins ahead of them but they would be canny squad players.

Tainio is a bit of a nothing player though.

I can't see them struggling too much this season as things stands if I'm honest.

Their problem will be scoring imo. Jones was such a big player for them last year. Not just the goals but the physical threat and allowing them to play 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 when deemed necessary. I agree they'll be ok though and I quite like their signings.

So does the Beeb.

Not a quote in sight and lots of recycled stories. As I said earlier, if he is no where to be found at Orient tonight, I will believe it.

He flew back to train with the squad in spain after negotiations with Sunderland, Kaboul, TT and Chimbonda didn't.

I think he wants to stay and so does this fella.

Yeah they're a long way off being a team that will do well but they survived fairly comfortably in the end last season and I think they will improve on that at least.

At the minute it's difficult see past the three promoted teams for relegation. Fulham are even making some decent signings.
