ewerk 31195
But you don't rate him as good enough to get in your starting XI? That depends on too many factors ... at liverpool you need a starting 16. Last time I checked it was 11 players who started a game. So, would you have £19m Robbie Keane in your starting XI?

'feeding club' is grammatically correct ... you're sooooooooooo sucked in by tabloid phrases and collocations that you can't spot that.

He could well be but the way Rafa rotates and changes you never know. I really meant what I said about having a starting 16 ... you really do need 16 or more players who are capable of being in your first 11.

It's 'feeder club' because it refers to a club which supplies another club with players. It's perfectly correct. A 'feeding club' would be confusing because it could mean one of two things. You'd look less of a prat if you just admitted you were wrong on occasion.

Yeah, but you were hinting at him being Torres' back-up weren't you? "Not at the moment, no. I like the system we use (4-2-3-1) and Torres is the 1." Otherwise the above made no sense. He isn't that type of player at all.

Park Life 71
Rafa has purchased completely the wrong striker for his 5-4-1. You see to the untrained eye Keane does look like a deep lying, rotating, feeding, hysterical clown. Ramos 1 - 0 Rafa.

You obviously know that Benitez will consider Keane - a 28 year old player with a wealth of PL experience he's just paid £20m for (or near enough) - a starting XI player rather than a squad player. You won't admit it though because you called him a squad player as an attempted dig at DannyB and now look daft seeing as your club's just forked out a fortune for him. I have a feeling after the Euro's and all that hair tousling some PL defenders are ready to cut him in half in the first 5 min. Just a thought.
