Happy Face 29
If the current contract is honoured and we introduce a £10M buyout clause to come into effect once the current contract expires I think he would.

It's a tricky one, I'm sure his advisors have reminded him he can walk on a free next summer or something similar.

There's been no interest shown even when he did have a buyout clause in his contract. Even on a free, are many clubs going to spend £100k+ a week on a 30* year old that's scored 20* goals in 3* years? He could be throwing away a shitload of money if he has another catastrophe that fucks his season up this year. *just guesses

Stephen 0
Maybe if there was a deal like pay the last year of his contract on his current wages, then a wage cut end of this season. I think he'd accept that. He'll be lucky if he does decide to leave on a free to get more than £70 tbh with his injury track record.

Leaving on a free is all about the signing on fee thought isn't it?
