"From the visionary director of 300"

:jesuswept:

:D That's me put off as well.

Watch Men? clearly, he does.

He's got bulging biceps and torso's all over the shop again, but it looks like he's been able to turn the homoerotica up a notch with all those hunks being able to make each other gush just by looking at them.

He's gayer than Top Gun being played on a pink tv.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Thing is like, the homoeroticism in something like Top Gun is funny as fuck. In '300' it just adds to the all-round shite-ness of a film which takes itself very seriously.

:D

Slider: Goose who's butt did you kiss to get in here anyway?

Goose: The list is long, but distinguished.

Slider: Yeah, well so is my Johnson.

Take it you've not read the comic then?

You want to watch what you call a 'comic'. The nerds will go ballistic.

Yup, rippling pecs and bulging biceps will be everywhere. :jesuswept:

'Graphic Novel' always makes me laugh like. A long comic, in another words.

:jesuswept:

Nowt the matter with it, if that's what you're into. It's the wording which makes me laugh. It's a bit like the Harry Potter books with adult covers.

Mind you novel doesn't necessarily mean only words, does it?

This wouldn't be another fan of the genre getting a tad defensive by any chance, would it? :jesuswept:

But aye, I think of a book filled with one continuous piece of written prose when I think of a novel.

Nope, although I do rather like some (The Crow and The Dark Knight Returns are rather good, and so's The Tick :D ), but I don't mind what you call them (I call them comics, mostly :D - but I can see how you wouldn't market/sell them as that, in much the same way you wouldn't market/sell a cook book as a car manual).

Yeah, most would, but that's not actually their definition is it? : :icon_lol:
