Doesn't make that statement any less ludicrous considering you've been throwing money around to try and secure 4th. Darren Bent has had one season at Spurs, where he has been in competition with one of the countries top partnership. He has scored 6 goals in 11 prem starts, not a bad return. Good business: Carrick 3m-18m Lennon 1.5m-6m Robbo - 1.5m-5m we even turned a 2m profit on fatty mido. Bent was an obvious choice for you but a bad one ultimately. Good business? Tooj 17 Posted July 18, 2008 Share Posted July 18, 2008 Just looking at the current sqaud id say the following were paid too much for or are just generally shit Didier Zokora Younes Kaboul Teemu Tainio Paul Stalteri Jermaine Jenas Hossam Ghaly Steed Malbranque Adel Taarabt Tom Huddlestone Jamie O'Hara Aaron Lennon you clearly know vey little, Jenas is our best midfielder, Lennon cost a nominal fee, Tainio was on a free and put Fabregas in his pocket in the 5-1, O'Hara came through the ranks, Taarabt is a kid and Ghaly cost jack all.
