Snake 0
How does that compare to Arsenal's? Do you not find it a tad embarrassing to have to quote another teams success? What about Newcastle snake? The team YOU support? The fucking irony I'm just interested in how your more famous and successful rivals have been doing. Hopefully we'll find out soon enough, I've just posted this thread on a couple of their boards

paddy 17
Lack of success ? In recent years. 2 FA Cup Finals - Did you win them? 1 UEFA Cup semi final - Did you win it? Premier League runners up - Did you win it? 3 Season's of Champions League football. - Did you win it? ok, no silveware but hardly a lack of success is it ? - Of course it is. How can it be a success if you dont achieve the ultimate goal of winning it? That like me going to work not doing my job properly and saying to my boss "I nearly did it" Its a results business, end of. I am not claiming we are a massive club but then nor are you. Are we a bigger club than Newcastle? Certainly. Why did we not get invited along to this new boys club? Who knows. Why are Chelsea there? They arent a big club. They are a small club with a bit of money. Does this actually mean anything? No. It will be as meaningless as G14 before it. acrossthepond 878
You're talking shite Danny. The only thing that matters is winning? Our CL seasons mean nothing? As they say, you can't win it if you aren't in it. Which Spurs have never been. As for finishing runners up in the league not mattering, if you finished second in the league this season you and the ten or so north Londoners who aren't supporting the vastly more successful Arsenal would be squealing with joy. NUFC = 5th biggest club in England. We sit round the table with Milan, Madrid, Barca, and the elite clubs of Europe. Tottenham Hotspur don't even register on their radar, League Cup or no two-bit aluminum foil cup.

Villa, Everton or Citeh/Other? the scouser joining in with the Spurs-baiting? to be honest I'd say Everton are more of a threat to the top four in the EPL than anyone else. Consistently built without spending a huge wedge. Can play some good football and have a decent (in numbers) following. Certainly more likely to maintain a challenge throughout the season instead of feigning challenge but stuttering at the last.
