Jill 0
I had quite a long wait for my jacket potato before like. The queue was out the door and I was too lazy to walk somewhere else. Thankfully some idiot has left me in charge so I'm going to take it upon myself to have an extra 10 minutes for lunch.

It was the buggers that were doing the lunch run for the entire office which brought this all on.

Meenzer 15347
Tesco had carrots reduced to nowt, so I'm making soup for lunch (and beyond). The bags the carrots came in boast the handy advice "Use in soups or enjoy as a tasty snack!" When did we become so retarded that we need to be told what is and isn't a "tasty snack", for fuck's sake?

The Fish 10674
it does save you a packet, but I know that I can never be arsed to make one in the morning, and sandwiches just don't taste the same if you've made them the night before and fridged them. Lucky enough that I've been pretty much able to work from home lately which has meant lunches have become less about a quick necessary snack and an meal based on what I want to eat at the time. Its not as nice, especially as our sandwich shop is lush but we're talking about £2.70 a day plus any other snacks like crisps/chocolate. End up spending about £15-16 a week - £60 a month!! Obviously it still costs money to buy the stuff but not even near to that amount.
