worryem 0
Am a serious Toon fan. You must agree, it's not optional. Emigrated to Hull 1964. Often been back to SJP. Am Hull City season ticket holder. Nice little stadium. Shared with rugby league. So often has poor pitch, but better than Wigan ! Tigers now in the Prem but 1-3 odds on to go down. They haven't signed anyone yet, not even a 15 year old from Plymouth. Manager is Jarrow/Shields Geordie, but a Big Sam clone. Same style investor owner who wont spend more than £3m. Possible signings are ex Bolton - Campo, Mendy, JJ Okacha, etc all on freebies. No, we don't want Smith. Must get back to the point. Am in with a good crowd and we travel away to most games especially SEPT 19th AT SJP. My questions for this game are = 1. Do I wear my Toon shirt, or my orange Tigers thing ? I'll get a lot of good natured abuse from the Hull lot if I wear the Toon shirt, but I can't understand wot they say. They talk funny. 2. Do I sit with them in the crap away seats at SJP or get my own ? Where are the away seats now? Up in the Milburn Gods ? Hope not. 3. Don't understand wot is happening about these seats. Read fans wont renew ST's because being moved. Can you tell me briefly wot it's about ? Suspect it's greed. 4. These Hull lads like pint, or2, or3....... They recently drank a pub dry before they got to the Wembley playoff. Noisy good natured, good fun. No trouble. Our philosophy is we have waited 104 years for some sort of result and it's arrived. We are living the dream. We will enjoy it even if we do a Derby. As long as we do better than S'land did for me. Is there a pub or 2 near SJP who will take us ? 5. This should be a Class 3 game. Last time I "escorted" some of them for a 3 game was Wigan, when all got a free pint inside SJP from the club. Like Pearl Harbour, that day has gone down in infamy ! It's still talked about today. They have asked me if the same offer will be repeated for Hull game. Anybody out there know ? Is it open to away fans too who no doubt have different facilities ? Or only home fans ? Please advise. WubbleUC 0
1. Only you can decide that. If you're with us, wear your Newcastle Top, of youre with them, wear your Hull one. I'll not give you any, but either way, be prepared for a bit of abuse on here for that comment..! 2. Away fans are in the John Hall Level 7 now. That's up in the gods behind the goal. They are not crap seats, the view is fantastic. I don't think there are any crap seats in our ground to be honest. Way too much made out of the height. 3. A lot of changes this year that people were bound to be a bit unhappy with, can't please everyone. No big story out of it though, there's not thousands of people rioting or anything! 4. Newcastle doesn't have any 'home fans only' bars really. You'll be fine. If they like Beer & Boobies then take them to Sam Jacks near the Gate, might even get one of them to do the 'away day challenge..' 5. The free pint thing was probably a one off for last year, might happen again, we'll see.

The Fish 11080
I agree, and here's why 1.They don't actually add anything to the conversation 2. They're a frivilous waste of bandwidth 3. They may end up on Channel four hosted by Jimmy Carr at some point, and nobody wants that. 4. They confuse the more simple board members.
