LeazesMag 0
I've ordered it. Supposed to be a good read, and can't go wrong for a penny plus postage

The Mighty Hog 538
Amazon have been fine when I've used them, but just be a bit warey when you're buying from someone on amazon market place. Check out their feedback just like you would someone on Ebay. Although for a penny book the risk is pretty minimal.

Toonraider 0
I've used Amazon for years, never a problem. Edit. Ah I have just looked and realised you are buying secondhand. I suppose with that you can only check the sellers ratings.. Least you're not spending too much!! Edited June 28, 2008 by Toonraider
Rob W 0
aye - we use it all the time and have done for years and have never had a problem. That includes the second hand and "preferred supplier" options The only things to watch out for are that there seems to be no way to logoff after making a transaction - you have to close the window Watch what you choose for Shipping options - if you're not careful you order 4 CD's and they all arrive in different packets Sometimes they may not have an item in stock (odd CD's and books - I have an order that will be delivered in December 2009 - the b***** stopped writing it halfway through) and it will delay the whole package if you choose the single package option - they tell you about it and you can change it to get them to deliver what they have but it may be a week or so . You need to decide just how fast you want sommat when you sit down to order Edited June 29, 2008 by Rob W
Guest alex
I've almost always found the marketplace sellers, who are independent sellers (which can be a shop or just an individual), to be excellent too. They sell new and second-hand stuff. As others have said though, check the feedback. Also, check the delivery prices. I think all books are about £2.25 and all cds are about £1.25 delivery. There are some quirks in the pricing though, whereby memory sticks, for example, are classified as electronic equipment so they charge something daft like £5+ for delivery. Also, the supersaver delivery which is free on orders over a certain amount (£15 or something like that) isn't Royal Mail so if you miss the delivery you might have a right trek to pick it up from the depot. If you look out for the odd little thing like that though it's a brilliant service.
Holden McGroin 6975
They use Home delivery as their couriers now. They are awful and the depots are few and far between.

Only if you use the supersaver free delivery option. Otherwise it's Royal Mail.

I know it's irrelevant but I just bought a 2gb usb drive for $15aus, that's about 7 quid! Four years ago a 125mb was over $100! Oh from here: www.officeworks.com.au The shipping will probably kill it. Edited June 29, 2008 by sammynb
