snakehips 0
Whitley Bay was a gold mine when I was a kid. Going 'bottling' on the links and beach, to take them back for the deposit was a good source of income. Up the Villa

Really difficult to get the good stuff any more..... probably because it was made out of radioactive dog turds or something.

sweetleftpeg 0
My neighbour is a milkman and he still does the pop as well. Doesn't give you a goldfish for returning them though.
Happy Face 29
I tried Dandelion and burdock the other day. Frigging vile. Cream Soda is still lush though. Ginger Beer is a wartime rationing version of pop that should be outlawed. Repugnant.

sweetleftpeg 0
Irn Bru tasted much better out of the old glass bottles, strange.... I agree. Also no-one can ever beat Soda Stream Tizer, although this may have been because we put far too much of the sauce in. We were tripping off our tits on it. Sorry, I was just expressing my preference. Otherwise it's too sweet for me. I'd have lime juice rather than lime cordial as well.

Guest alex
Speaking of which, I had a few tries of Spritz on me hols recently. It's a Venetian drink which is basically just Campari and Soda but it's nicer (if you can get it) if you replace the Campari with Aperol (a bit less bitter) and they also quite often put Prosecco in instead of soda. It makes a very nice and refreshing aperitif. Almost certainly one of those drinks that are never quite the same on a rainy evening in West Moor though. DMurray 0
Haha, I know what you mean, the drinks on hol just don't taste the same when you get home and try to make them yourself.
