Guest BigThompers
Oh and Fish, a spoiler is a mechanical improvement, you thick knows-nothing retard. A mechanical "improvement" would have to alter the performance of the car... which a spoiler on the back of a Punto, does not. You thick knows-nothing retard. Paint does serve a purpose so no, I wouldn't stop them painting them. as for people who get their names on the back of their shirt, I don't really care. I got my name on the back of my shirt when I was a kid and don't hold it against any kid who does the same. It's when you see 40 yr old blokes with "Geordies 4 Eva" that brings on an attack of the cringe. Charvzilla iyam but please, tell me how cool it is to have a personalised plate, on your dead cool Astra, listening to a Kid Rock/James Blunt/Coldplay megamix wearing your "Fuk tha mackems" football shirt. I tingle with anticipation. A spoiler DOES alter the performance of a car you fucking nonce!
Guest BigThompers
A car is one of lifes major investments, what's the problem in people wanting to personalise them? TBF, it's a one time investment, you can keep your number plate for life, then it's just the small change-over fee when you change your car. If I drive for 51 years of my life, If I change my car every 3 years, thats 17 cars. £250 initial cost + (£80 x 17). The number plate will cost me about 2 and a half quid a month It's not about the cost though is it? It's about looking like a pretentious tosser which you obviously enjoy doing... Hardlys. I just think having my name on my number plate is novelty.

The added benefit would be the town wouldn't have to listen to the wiggers cruising along with their 120 decibel Gangsta rap.

Rear spoilers, which modify the transition in shape between the roof and the rear and the trunk and the rear, act to minimize the turbulence at the rear of the vehicle. The main design goal of a spoiler in passenger vehicles 9NOT TOP MARQUE SPORTS CARS) is to reduce drag and increase fuel efficiency.

Love how you throw these insults around when you clearly read at a pre-teen level. You're ultra defensive of everything you're into, beyond the pail in most regards. But this is probably the hardest for you to defend, a Spoiler isn't bought by people who want to improve fuel efficiency. It's bought by tossers like you, who want the world to know how fast their car can do, or at least they want the world to look at them, then get ultra defensive when it becomes clear that nobody gives a shit. 160 mph you say? well done you, I bet all your mates are dead jealous. The Fish 11098
what's the matter thompers? can't work the image function? I guess it's more important for people to see that your car can go 160mph... oh and p.s. I couldn't give a shit about your car. You asked about wanky personalised plates and I told you. You know more about car performance than me, kudos, trouble is you're destined to be yet another statistic. Because then it might be justified. If you were doing a long race where fuel efficiency and aerodynamics were critical to gaining you every second you can get. If however you're doing 90 down the motorway with your window open it's a complete waste. I know a few rather well off lads who pay to take their road cars out on tracks (TVRs generally like, not Astras) as well as build their own kit cars (caterham) for track days and that. I also know a few kids that stick a spoiler on the likes of a Micra because they think it looks cool. Just wondering which group you fall into. If you think it looks cool, good luck to you by the way. I think my velcro shut trainers look cool and my dad has the opposite view. You try to be cool within your group of peers don't you, so a rear spoiler might make someone the coolest kid in the car park.
The Fish 11098
Dunromin. Thompers, genuinely. Why do you want a personalised plate? and don't just say "to personalise my car" because that's a result of the plate, not the reason behind getting it.
