MattM4 0
Reminds me of 00-01 ... on one hand it gets it out of the way, on the other it makes the start of the season quite an anticlimax.

Fop 1
This defeatist attitude appalls me. With the best will in the word if Man U play as they played averagely last season and if we played as we played at our best, we'd be lucky to draw.

Clearly gutted no-one responded to your normal contrary line and changed it to try and get a bite. Edited June 16, 2008 by Happy Face

Fop 1
That you're an awful cunt. Aye being right does tend to get that reaction. Nice to see you realise you had no actual point (other than looking for a bite) though

TheMoog 0
I guess it should be a good gauge on whether the club progresses at all this summer. I'm not a defeatist but as things currently stand I'm not looking forward to it.

Craig 6702
Arsenal (a) third game in?? Well at least that's both of those games out of the way by September. We all know what'll happen though, we'll lose and we'll be towards the bottom 3 (if not in it!) and the press will be calling for Keegan's head... Pathetic but all too predictable though

Pathetic but all too predictable though Sad but true, it almost makes me wonder if it would be within the bounds of imagination that a chairman/owner could grease the palm of an apropriate person to be given the opportunity to remove a manager that he doesn't want by making sure said manager had a crap start to the season... consipracy-theory-tastic! Pathetic but all too predictable though The press will be knocking one out over the chances of this happening, they can't believe their luck. The last thing they wanted was for KK to get the kind of easy starts Souness, Roder and Allardyce managed to fuck up as Keegan's teams are hard to stop once they build momentum. Its a shocking start but if things don't go well and we ignore our current position it is good to have thosr 2 trips done and out the way i suppose. Also early on you can catch these teams not firing and sneak a draw here and there.

Craig 6702
What's that supposed to mean? It's got nothing to do with my support for the club - i'm getting at what the gutter press will focus on. Oh and if you're on about the fact that I'm suggesting we'll be beaten in both games and therefore I cannot possibly be a 'proper' supporter then give it up now. I'm realistic, I know that a draw in either game will be a massive bonus for us. S'pose this is the season Liverpool will win the Premiership isn't it? You lot sound more and more like the David Coulthard of Football every single day...
