Italy. Never should have won last World Cup, bunch of cheats, which is reflected in both the last World Cup and their domestic league. That and the fact that half of Melbourne, where i'm from, jump on the bandwagon because they have heritage, never mind giving support to the nation they're actually living in.

People like to be different, don't they? That said, I Australia weren't competing in this year's tournement last time I checked. :)

You're right Luke, although 'stralia is currently playing 2010 WC qualifiers so we should be occupied with those games.

The thing is a lot of Italian 'stralians openly celebrated and mocked 'stralia when Italia controversially knocked us out of the last WC, now we're not talking about the first generation or older Italian migrant, we are talking about those that are 2nd and 3rd generation Australians, with less Italian in them than Meenzer at a pasta festival.

Now if you compare the same with Croatia, who called us Croatia B or the English who constantly remind us of our convictness, there is good spirit and humour between the two cultures but not the Italian of Melbourne or Sydney, twats.

Like I said, people like to be different, and you can never discount family influence. But the Croatian example you cite is the way it should be. English born Pakistan fan's booing Sajid Mahmood when he turned out for England was equally distasteful.
