On the plus side at least it appears that our new scouting network had identified these players before the tournament, not that it does us much good now that the world and his wife knows about them. They'll have known about him for ages and had himwatched many times, a couple of games here isnt going to change much. If Keegan had put a bid in then any bigger clubs who are planning on going for him would have stepped in and took him, people can't believe we were the only ones who had any idea he was good before this tournament and that if we'd bid for him we'd be unapposed and get him! I'd still have a go, on the very remote chance that somebody more attractive than us doesn't come in, but they will and they would have before the euros as well, so its unfair criticism of Keegan IMO. Not just on here but talking to people and what you hear its as if some people think because we didnt make a move now everyone will know about him, as if they didn't before! And as i say i'd still have a go, as there's nothing to lose and you do wonder why nobody has went for him before now, but i bet when the offers start to come in for him we'll be up against teams in the CL and then we're fucked!
