Meenzer 15437
You're right Meenzer, seeing the lass is part Italian and I have a thing in general for Italian booty, why would I be bitter And they don't call him aussie Chris Vieri for nothing How unlike the Australians to need to resort to claiming foreigners as their own in order to engender some kind of national identity. Meenzer 15437
OK, they beat you in a moderately unfair manner once - why stay hung up about it for years to come? That'd be like the Germans still being bitter about the Azeri linesman in 1966... ...oh, wait. By the way I thought you'd be more inclined to support the Greeks Traditionally "warm brothers" they may be, but they never score. What's the point in that? Guest alex
I could see Romania going through tonight. They draw with the Dutch, Italy draw with France. Agree. Wouldn't be happy with that though, I want Italy to qualify. I wish they were in group A so they could have been the first team to go out. Still bitter about the World Cup then? Should change his username to Amaro Italy is to me as south of the Tyne is to stevie Fucking cheating cunts do it again! Edit: Saint or provence, alex? Liqueur. Ketsbaia 0
1-0 Russia. I get the feeling Keegan may be eyeing up the Russian left back. He looks very, very, very handy when bombing forward.

David Kelly 1224
Looked absolute quality, mind you so did a few of their players. Interesting to hear he's on about £50k a week at Zenit. Looks like we wouldn't be able to afford his wages either!

Guest alex
I stuck a £5 e/w on Russia (33/1) at the start of the comp. I can't see them getting past the Dutch but they look a different team with Arshavin back in the side. Stuck a cheeky £10 on Croatia to win it outright too after they beat Germany (9/1). Proper high roller me like.
snakehips 0
Arshavin looked the bizz last night - far better than Modric has been imo. No chance of us signing him. I didn't realise Arshavin is 27 - I suppose that is why Zenit are trying to cash in before he gets any older?

I don't think they really need to cash in tbf and he's on £50k pw apparently and given Ashley's desire to cut wages I can't see us offering him much more. Guest alex
I think it would probably be a case of the player himself fancying a move abroad / new challenge / playing in the Premiership because, as has been mentioned, Zenit are not short of cash and he's on big money already. They are also in the Champions League next season iirc.

By the way the LB for Russia looks canny, who does he play for?
