Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
I understand the inability of stats to paint a full picture. But I like them. Statistics should be used like a drunk man uses a lamp-post; for support rather than illumination. (I quite like them too btw)
Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
George Martin's record is particularly good when you think he had to make time to produce all those Beatles records too.
Happy Face 29
Kinnear sitting pretty on 53.3%, just below sir Berb and level with Councillor Cox.
TicTacWoe 0
Hello (first post and all that), just thought I'd defend Dalglish as I feel people are ignoring the good things he did. Remember it was Dalglish who got us from 4th to 2nd after he took over to qualify for the CL the following year and although he signed some total stenchers, he also signed---Given, Solano, Speed, Hamman etc Without some of his signings particularly Shay and Nobby we could well have been relegated at one point or another in the last decade. Monkeys Fist 43063
Ranking that shower of shit is like ranking your 5 least favourite meals. For me: 1, Dog shit on toast (Souness) 2, Spunk wrap (Guillet) 3, Used tampon tea loaf (Allardyce) 4, Anal scappings on ryvita (Roeder) 5, Knob cheese sarny (Dalglish)

Happy Face 29
Joe Kinnear is now statistically the worst manager in Newcastle history bar Ossie Ardiles. Should he lose to the Mackems and West Brom (he couldn't, could he?), he'll drop to dead last.

Chaser 1255
If he's here for another 8 games and his ratio doesnt pick up, it would make no sense at all considering MA got rid of FSA after 24 games with a better ratio.

Happy Face 29
Stats mean fuck all of course. His record is about the same as Keegans 24 game spell. The telling thing is it's a mirror image. Where Keegan never won a game but was turning it around and started picking up points later on. Kinnear managed to pick up a few points but has got progressively worse. Guest alex
I find it hard to blame the bloke too much. He's literally one of the few people who would even have considered taking the job. Not that I'm saying he's any good. I don't think another team in the top two divisions (at least) would have even thought about taking him on. Bet you 40p it was Kinnear who contacted Wise about the vacancy and begged for the job. Wise then got on the 'dog and bone' (for all the cockneys out there) to his mate fatash to get him the job. The rest is history.

Given what he's had at his disposal, he's done about as good as he can. The only thing about him that really pisses me off is him opening his trap too much. He's not the problem, it's the structure above him and I don't think it matters who is in the hotseat at the moment

Of course he has to work under difficult circumstances, he's done loads of mistakes himself too when it comes to selections and tactics. For this deserves all the blame he gets, not to mention his incapability to keep his gob shut.
