Btw has anyone ever spelt these words before or are we just making the spelling up here as we go?

Just making them up. We never had a rule book or owt :yes

As I thought.

Did you play British Bulldog too?

I thought everyone played that. It was especially cool as it was banned at first school. Understandably since the only bit of the yard that wasn't concrete was a bit of grass about 5 x 5 yards that you weren't allowed on.

Aye it was banned at ours too.

And yet it is Tuggy. No tuggy butcher though!

No they never found me, I was amazing at hide and seek. Would be out there for hours and would finally come back and see them playing football or had gone home. I was soo good it was practically like they told me to hide then didn't bother coming looking for me.
