Politeness says if you're going to talk about someone you do it behind their back. Tact dictates that if someone uses a cup to wash their balls, you stop using the cup rather than wail on them them for it. And common courtesy is that when a fruit says they have out of body experiences, you politely nod with a grin on your face rather than belittling them and mocking their faith.
