donaldstott 0
There's a story about this on the Sun website, stating we are strapped for cash so we are flogging Shola, sitting neatly beside the story claiming we're about to make Michael Owen the Bill Gates of football. Make your frickin mind up!!

Happy Face 29
Good luck to him. Get's far more stick than he deserves. Never as bad as the likes of Luque or arguably even Smith in terms of ability or what he's cost us to warm the bench.
JawD 99
Nah, in fairness, he has done well at times, but equally shite at times. Fair play to the lad, only Roeder seems to "understand" his style while most fans find it frustrating as hell. He has came in to a fair bit of stick and often has maybe carried the can for the whole teams shite displays. Still, I reckon the championship / lower prem is where he should be as I see him as what was potential now as came as far as he can with us. Not likes he's ever really spat his dummy out or slagged us off etc, despite him seemingly procrastinating over his move. So, glad to see him go, but aye, Id wish him well. The Fish 10995
for whatever reason that photo took a while to load and I couldn't help notice how decidedly unimpressed he looks... Thought it was definitely going to be him at Ipswich training ground.

Jimbo 175
AMEOBI MOVE ON HOLD Posted on: Tue 19 Aug 2008 Town's bid to bring Shola Ameobi to Portman Road has been put on hold for now as the player recovers from a hamstring injury. A fee has been agreed between Blues and Newcastle for the 26-year-old striker but the hamstring problem became apparent when the player underwent a medical. Ameobi sustained the injury during pre-season and Town's stringent medical showed that his hamstring has not completely healed. He is unlikely to be fit before the end of the August transfer window so Blues are now exploring other options with Newcastle regarding the former England U21 international.
