khay 10
Geremi Hammer Blow NEWCASTLE United midfielder Geremi has seen his Magpie goal tally halved - by the Premier League's Dubious Goals Panel. The equalising goal in our 2-2 draw at West Ham United on April 26, had initially been awarded to the Cameroon star. However, the panel have now decided it was an own goal by unfortunate Hammers defender George McCartney. It means Geremi now has just a solitary strike to look back on for the 2007/08 season - when he swept in a free-kick during our 4-1 win against Tottenham, Hotspur at White Hart Lane on March 30. snakehips 0
Always think on the bright side. At least George McCartney has his goal tally increasing (probably doubled)!!! Anyway, what sort of name is George McCartney for a footballer ffs? Edited May 21, 2008 by snakehips

Guest Patrokles
more reference to the team it was against than the magnitude of the news, tbh, which makes it fine as a headline.
