Torres 0
As I've said before... Man Utd will get their 19th league title and 6th Champions League long before Liverpool will... Whatever else happens, at least it'll put an end to this "England's most successful club" bollocks. It's all fucking relative - Everton have spent more time in the top division than anyone else, couldn't that decree that they're more successful? Even if they did we would have still won more mojor trophyies than them........................and with Rafa in charge we`ll soon be back to our rightful place. Howay 12496
Agreed Craig, Torres we don't have to agree with every word our manager says do we? on top of that he gets enough shit from the press as it is imagine the torrent of pure hate that would be dumped on him if he so dared to suggest Liverpool aren't actually on the same level as the top 3, plus he's an ex-player. Torres you call us delusional get a grip. Edited May 8, 2008 by Barton7
Torres 0
Turned Liverpool down to come here too He turned us down to go to Chelski. He did not turn us down to go to you, Maureeniho wound not sell him to us or any top four club. He wanted to offload him somewhere he would be absolutely no threat. Let`s just say Jose got that one right. He said he turned down yourselves when he joined us. Aye. I disagree with all this top 4 rubbish btw Liverpool are catchable in the league and they never mount a decent title challenge. Anelka hasn't had a glittering career, your taking the piss right If England`s most successful club never again mount a suscessful challenge.......................... then you should take up tiddliwinks and stop wasting your time on football. Basically you lot live in the past and are deluded. Ironic given the stick we get for the same thing. You get stick.......................but not for the same reasons we do. A CL semi final and 4th place V a relegation battle and ridicule.................and you compare us to you.............now that is what I call deluded! Big time! You do very well in this regard tbf, as you have a massive plastic support, but their's is stratospheric. The result is that you will always be jealous of them and the fact that they may win the another league and champions league double this year is sending Liverpool into a fucking bitter meltdown. The only comparison I've made is that we get stick for being deluded and living in the past, whereas you don't. How does that make me deluded exactly? You lot, as you've demonstrated with your 'rightful place' claptrap, seem to think you have a divine right to be winning the league etc. There's no such thing, you earn that place by being good enough. I'm fully aware we're nowhere near that. I'd still support us regardless though. Beats being a gloryhunter any day.

Guest Stevie
Liverpool: More gloryhunters, bigger turnover, more out of town fans, bigger worldwide fanbase, Better history after the mid 60's, wanks Newcastle: Far bigger local fanbase, far more loyal support, better history pre mid 60's Those are eight things which Liverpool and Newcastle have which each van claim to have the upper hand. If you add all those "positives" together, we're both no where near Manchester United, and never will be. It's only a few years ago Liverpool were getting 33,000 at league games, a few seasons sitting in fifth and you'd be more like an Aston Villa on and off the pitch. Fucking hell man where have I personally ever called Keegan the Messiah I'm free to agree and disagree with what he says as I can truly call myself a Newcastle fan, Keegan didn't have to tell me the top 3 were out of reach I already knew they were. All this is pointless anyway because you don't have a leg to stand on you're not even a Liverpool fan you just like pretending to be one, come back when you support the team you should be supporting. In the 70's and 80's Manchester (United) were jealous of Liverpool's success and Liverpool was jealous of Manchester's gates and profile. In the 90's and 00's Liverpool has been jealous of Manchester's success, gates, profile and Manchester generally speaking has had a bit of a laugh at Liverpool. Incidentally I hate Man U so it's not a case of me sticking up for them. I just know that to be the truth. Liverpool can barely fucking contain it's jealousy at the moment, hence why you come out with shit like this on a Newcastle board to make yourself feel better. Pathetic really. Hadrian 0
legs have gone & he still thinks he's a winger . he will have to adapt to a deeper role if he wants to get anywhere imo , he's not got the pace to beat people on the wings anymore and get a decent cross in . ive not seen him have a good 90 mins for us yet .
