Fop 1
Yay! Lets kill every thread with needless argument It's not needless. It's the crux of Fop's opinion....that he can't back up. 'The more I practice, the luckier I get.' - Gary Player The need for a villain has never been more apparent. Although I must admit the more Sven sat immobile practising his mind to ball control the luckier he got... shame he never got it sorted for penalties. Villain? I just think you're a thick cunt. You can think? I think you're much more instinct driven myself (as post in this thread pretty much prove). Although in fairness if that's you in you're picture then being that ugly probably does make you quite bitter so maybe it's understandable. Fop 1
Great news for us but totally ridiculous from Citeh's perspective. If I was a fan of them I'd be fucking livid. Ok, the second half of the season hasn't lived up to the first but they were expected to falter and it's no real surprise they've ended up where they are but...... they've had their most successful season for years, done the double over Man Utd for the first time in god knows how long and are playing flowing, attractive football. This season for them was about building for the future and, given a decent summer, they could have been seriously challenging for Europe and nudging the top 4. Shinawatra has just put them back another year - don't know who he's got illusions of attracting but I doubt they'll hold a candle to what Sven has achieved. Think back to when Sam was sacked and we were all intimating how much we'd got it wrong and Citeh had got it right.... Maybe with the manager, but certainly not with the owner - that Thai fucker doesn't have a clue! Elano for the Toon? Get back on topic, Craig. FOP = Fucking Obnoxious Prat FACT See above. They'll bring in the olympic torch bearers or some such disciplinarians to whip the squad into a positionally millimetre perfect precision team. Are you still here? Sorely tempted to make a seperate forum for you where people can enter to argue with you if they like. In all seriousness your 'Mary Mary' routine is becoming very tedious and it's hardly surprising people are disappearing to other forums for a decent debate. I'm just consistently amused that everyone "hates" the villain, yet everyone needs the villain too, and lines up to "take them on". Like I said before, it doesn't matter WHAT I say, just that I say it........ the rest comes naturally to the usual suspects (as yet again we can CLEARLY see here). Jusoda Kid 1
I thnk its a bit of a rewrite to suit the press agenda that Allardyce was sacked because of the fans - I'd like to think it was down to Ashley (a decision I agreed with). I do think there were some rumblings from some City fans but I assume most were happy(ish) - I hope whoever they get fails. Also if we had hung on to Sam until the end of the season we could now have had Sven Of course it was a history rewrite. It's funny with the recent Avram Grant thing too. When you initially had Chelsea 'fans' singing "you don't know what you're doing" the press didn't pick up on it (much). Now, they've decided to get their teeth into him it gets more publicity. Unfotunately though, despite the general consensus on here, I think most people lap up what they print. You have a short memory. Coming homw from Wigan away on Boxing Day i dont think there was a single fan on my bus who didnt want FS sacked there and then. I honestly think we would have been relegated by now if FS had stayed and im more than happy for the press to claim the fans got him sacked. Its nothing less than he deserved! I don't think the majority of fans ever wanted him sacked at any stage. I'm pleased things have worked out as they did but that's a different thing altogether. I think your wrong there mind Alex. The general consensus form everyone I know and in the places I drink, they wanted the fat fucka out, enough was enough, old blokes nearly coming to blows over his tactics etc. You just had your fence sitters like Fish and Gemmil who wouldn't commit for fear of being laughed at if we failed to attract someone better but deep down they knew he was the wrong man for the job.
