Despise them. 99% are arrogant and cockey including one I work with. I'd just like to see them FAIL. However, I dont think they will. Man U are still well, well ahead in terms of Glory Hunters (and it's always nice to see Fergie lose like that - I suspect he has his "I'd love it" moments, just not in public). And Abramovich is bound to get bored or sell sooner or later bringing them back down into the realms of mere mortals. Yeah, but unfortunately that doesn't mean you will win. Fuck tons of money, with the reputation and ability to be able to buy pretty much whomever you want, a massive scouting system, some dodgy links with feeder clubs, a manager that is pretty much 100% secure and 100% the boss and 20 years of stability are the keys. The rest is just nice frosting. But yeah if it were decided on attractive football they would be there or there abouts (although Arsenal maybe too). Actually that's another reason to hope they lose really (certainly from a Newcastle perspective), playing nice football (arguably the best) and being pipped to the post by a much more boring team.
