Jimbo 175
Just had a quick scan through all of the teams of the 85 album, I think I only counted 7 foreign players, how times have changed.

manc-mag 1
Had that strip and that tracksuit. SFTBH. First toon top I ever had, that. Looking at that team from top to bottom in sequence is hilarious. Relegation fodder/distinctly average until you get to the very last two photos, who are just world class home grown players. I know Pedro came via a circuitous route, but you have to wonder whether we'd have managed to sustain ourselves in the top flight at all during the 80's if it wasn't for a crop of home grown world beaters. Christ we were run like shit in them days.

Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
I've got that '85 one complete (the only time I ever did) somewhere. A quick check on ebay reveals it's worth fuck all however.

Happy Face 29
A mate's just (yesterday) found a football in his loft. It's got a Newcastle breweries badge on it and has been signed by what seems to be the 85/86 squad (someone correct me if I'm wrong). There's Waddle, Beardsley, Anderson, Mcfaul, Cunningham etc. I'm not sure if he's winding me up though. He knows fuck all about football, doesn't follow it. I'm awaiting pictures and will hoy them up. Any idea on the value of such an item. I thought it''d be a hundred or two. Though I guess without a certificate of authenticity, in this day and age it'll be coppers. Edited April 27, 2008 by Happy Face

Gotta be worth something - have a look around and see if there are any signed footballs for other clubs.

There's a Liverpool '85 ball on ebay for £250 buy it now. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Signed-Liverpool-foo...Q2em118Q2el1247 I'm yet to be provided of photographic evidence from the lad though. Even though I offered him £200 off the bat.
