Guest alex Posted April 25, 2008 Share Posted April 25, 2008 I don't think he's very happy with his current role at Barcelona but I think, if he's got any sense, he'll only leave if he is deemed surplus to requirements because even if you're as good as Henry is (and has been in the past) you tend to get very few opportunities (if any) to play for a club as big as Barcelona. With that comes the opportunity to win things like the Champions League, which again is something that rarely happens. I think he might be considered for sale by them though, come the summer. JawD 99 Posted April 25, 2008 Share Posted April 25, 2008 My usual feeling on these kinda links is that a player like Henry, despite the season he has had, could still get a game at another team playing in the CL. Assuming that is his greatest desire (as seems to be most players). The only thing that would tempt him otherwise you would think, is money. We would have to pay over the odds to a player (him or otherwise) who could get a game for someone in the CL.
